The Real Shit

Here’s the deal: being a brother isn’t about the fucking patch or the bike you ride. It’s not about knowing each other’s favorite beer or the bullshit stories we tell. True brotherhood? That’s about sticking together when the going gets tough, when everything else is fucked.

My wake-up call to what brotherhood really means wasn’t some epic ride or a drunken night. It was when my brother, not by blood but by the road, crashed his bike and nearly lost his life. Ended up in Richmond Virginia Hospital, fighting like hell. That shit hit us hard, a stark reminder of the risks we all face for that hit of freedom.

We didn’t just visit him because we felt we had to. It was deeper than that. It was our duty, our bond. He told me those visits were what kept him going, knowing we were there for him in his shittiest time. That’s the real test of brotherhood.

This whole ordeal showed me what being a brother is all about. It’s being there in the fucking dark times, offering a hand when one of us is down. It’s about more than just riding together. It’s about lifting each other up when life kicks you in the balls.

The road is unpredictable, filled with all sorts of shit that can knock you down. But what matters is that bond, that promise to have each other’s backs, no matter what. My brother’s crash was a harsh reminder that our bond goes beyond just riding. It’s about sticking together, through every shitty situation life throws at us.

So, to anyone who thinks wearing the same patch makes you brothers, think again. It’s about the actions, the commitment to stand by each other, through every fucked up turn life takes. That’s the kind of brotherhood that counts.

Being a brother isn’t some title you just throw around. It’s a promise, a fucking oath to be there for each other, through the best and worst of it all. After what happened with my brother, I learned that this bond is what keeps us going, what makes us fucking unbreakable. Let’s not just talk about being brothers.  Let’s live it, in every goddamn thing we do.

Ride Hard, Stay True.
